I am enthusiastic and passionate about my subject and have over 16 years experience teaching Welsh for Adults and over 6 years teaching primary & secondary aged students. Therefore, I`m confident in teaching all ages and ability. I am happy to tailor lessons to suit the student`s needs and concentrate on the areas to improve e.g. coursework, essay writing, reading, writing and/or speaking.

I have managed a large provision of Welsh in the Workplace/Welsh for the Family classes in the local area and have an expertise in Welsh language policies.

I am available to teach within 8 miles of the Pontypool area. I work from home Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, therefore have some availability during the day on those days or available evenings on weekdays too. I am also available on Sundays.

I also teach online using SKYPE/ZOOM and currently teach other students by this method.

I am in the process of investigating arranging group Skype lessons or group webinars so please contact for further details if you have a group interested to possibly use this method.

My previous employment has involved developing Welsh assessment and qualifications for teachers who teach Welsh as a second language at primary school level and developing an online tool to assess Welsh in the Workplace, as well as being a Welsh language Policy Officer for two local authorities.

I am competent in teaching Welsh first or second language up to A level standard/Proficiency level.
