My name is Heyka, 46 years old. I am German and have spent many years in South America I am fluent in three languages. I am a certified correspondent and have worked for different companies providing various commercial translations. I changed to self-employment and started giving lessons for students and private contract work for companies. I can provide both individual and group tuition to a structured and tailored curriculum. I also offer translation and transliteration services.
As a mother of two grown up boys, I know how much work and patience is required!

Heyka is a fantastic tutor. My husband and I wanted lessons to be competent Spanish speakers for when we go on holiday. Despite learning at different paces Heyka tailored the lessons so that we we both able to contribute and progress, but mostly it was fun too. I didn’t realise how much we had learned. I would highly recommend Heyka as a teacher.

Heyka has been teaching me for nearly 6 months now and I already feel I have developed so much! I enjoy our sessions and we have followed a text book methodically which has helped me build my knowledge gradually. She also has helped me with my confidence in conversational Spanish which has been very helpful.

Heyka is a fantastic tutor and my German has come on so much since starting lessons with her.
The lessons are fluid and fun, and she really challenges you during the sessions to speak and understand the language. The method of teaching really works for me.
She has excellent understand of languages and structure, and is able to explain this in simple terms.
Heyka is also very flexible on lesson times but always keeps her appointments once booked.
I highly recommend her as a tutor and am looking forward to improving my German language skills with her going forward.
