Kids need to be engaged to learn. I focus on drawing out as much understanding of the learning as possible, through as much fun as possible!

They need to be able to laugh, feel comfortable and inspired to take confident steps in order to make progress. It is simply my job to facilitate this! My expectations are high all the while - I try to foster an understanding of this through praise and questioning.

My approach is warm, safe and friendly - I genuinely enjoy being around children and young adults and have no problem with behavioural or processing issues.

My name is Sharlene and I am a British born, Mother Tongue English speaker. I love cooking in my spare time!

Availability: Mornings and Afternoons excluding Sundays.

Experience: 10+ Years experience at both Secondary and Primary Level English (Key Stage 1/2/3/4) as well as English as a Foreign Language for Exam Purposes for Children up to Business Level.

Worked in schools from West, North and South London both with challenging students and those requiring additional academic support.

Served as a Literacy tutor in West London and serve a handful of Private Clients.
