I specialise in the Sciences and English, and graduated in 2013 with first class honours in BSc Zoology. I was awarded the Society of Biology Top Student Award, having attained the highest marks in the school of biosciences.

I have an aptitude for teaching and explaining new or difficult concepts in a way that can be readily understood, and I enjoy doing so. My success as a tutor lies in my ability to teach and relate the material to the student in a way that resonates with them, adapting my teaching style to fit their learning methods, and perhaps most importantly instilling confidence in their own abilities. I have a variety of techniques and exercises designed to help students learn, memorise, and apply their new-found knowledge and understanding to exams and assignment questions. Through these methods I will successfully guide the tutee to achieve their academic goals.

I offer a free initial consultation session aimed at determining the tutee`s needs and goals, and at ensuring that all parties concerned are satisfied with the arrangement.

Experience: I have 2 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from primary to university level. I am currently tutoring 8 students (biology, maths, english and physics - GCSE and A-levels). Recent mock tests/exams taken by some of my students have seen their grades rise several places up to Bs and As.

As I am fairly new to this website I have no online ratings from recent tutees, however I can provide references from past students once we are in contact.
