TESTIMONIALS:

From Ola (5/5): (University Maths) I contacted Sam on behalf of my son who was having trouble in his university calculus course. Sam was an excellent tutor who was very professional, knowledgeable and who had an in-depth understanding of his topic. He was very good at simplifying difficult concepts and would describe multiple ways of a approaching a problem. I highly recommend him.

From Tarek (5/5): (University Geology) I asked Sam to help my daughter at the last minute with her final year dissertation proposal in environmental studies
He was really very professional, very well organised, used a systematic approach to help her and had to dedicate quite a few sessions for her in less than two weeks which was very helpful being a last minute request.
I am really impressed with Sam`s approach, organisation, knowledge and professional attitude.

From Nabila (5/5): (A-Level Chemistry) Malaikah finds the one to one lessons very beneficial. She is fullly engaged in the two hour lessons. Sam is a very patient and thorough in his explanations. They both communicate well together. Sam is very reliable and always on time. We are very happy with the lessons.

From Niamh (5/5): (A-Level Physics) Sam is an extremely thorough and patient tutor. He is genuinely interested in helping my son achieve the best possible marks in his physics exams. He has been very flexible in his timings when my son has been ill. I can whole heartedly recommend him as an excellent tutor.

An all rounder rather than a single subject tutor Not always fully prepared for the lessons Insists on 5 lesson commitment even before a taster session

Tutors Response :

Thanks for the feedback. On 1 Apr you wrote:

"Hi Sam

We have discussed chemistry tuition for my son Shivam. I have attached his email address and would be grateful if you could liaise with him directly to arrange for the tuition. Let me know how to settle the bills.

Thanks

Arvind V"

I got in touch with him and we agreed to have 5 sessions during Easter break. I have always agreed to the requests to have a taster lesson before either crash course or regular weekly lessons. There was no such request from yourself or student. You made the payment and tutoring sessions took place.

Can you, with all integrity, honesty and decency you possess, say at what point I "Insisted on 5 lesson commitment even before a taster session"? I understand life can be busy but would it not have been more helpful to have slightly more involvement than "settling the bills", rather than writing a false comment after end of tutoring sessions?
"Not always fully prepared for the lessons" while it`s genuinely surprising to see this comment, feedback on quality of lessons is student`s right.

Sam was super helpful, organised, patient and understanding. He took my daughter on, as a last minute panic and I’m really hoping it has given her some confidence for her GCSES coming up and consolidated stronger topics. I’m very grateful, thanks Sam 😊;
