• 2011-2014 Christ’s College, University of Cambridge: Natural Sciences, specialising in Neuroscience and Physiology.
• 2014 -2015 Judge Business School (JBS), University of Cambridge: Business Management Studies.
Awards and Achievements:
- 1st Class with Distinction in the fourth and final year, awarded to only two JBS undergraduates in 2015.
- The Gregg Prize for Natural Sciences: awarded for an exceptional 1st class in Neurobiology, Physiology and Cell and Developmental Biology.
- The Myers-Briggs Prize for Management Studies: awarded for an exceptional 1st class in Business Management.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
• June 2015:
Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute: Temporary Consultant at COSMIC, the largest cancer database in the world.
- During my Business Management course I worked as part of a three-person team responsible for assessing the success and projected sustainability of COSMIC’s database commercialisation.
- My economic modelling using Monte Carlo Simulation has to date reasonably predicted their income.
- This experience honed my team working skills and we were awarded the Best Project Prize by the JBS.
• August–October 2014:
Laboratory Technician for The Harrodian School.
- Responsible for the set-up and safety of all laboratory experiments.
- Charged with reorganising and creating an efficient, logical and streamlined system for all equipment and chemicals, which is still employed by the school today.
• 2010–2011 (6 months over a 2-year period):
Charity work in Samburu, North Kenya.
- Raised funds to provide and distribute emergency rations and supplies to tribal people in isolated areas during the droughts of 2010 and 2011.
- Involved in an initiative providing income to Samburu women through jewellery production and subsequent sale in the United Kingdom.
• Assisting in family camel dairy business in Kenya.
- Animal management including vaccination and basic veterinary care.
- Bartering for livestock in traditional communities and marketplaces.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
• Negotiation skills: scored top in my class in my Business Negotiation Workshop at university.
• Extensive experience of livestock trading, land deals and conflict resolution in Kenya.
• Computing skills: ability to use MS Excel, the statistical program R and Matlab. Proficient touch-typist.
• A strictly logical but creative mind.
• Extensive knowledge of East African culture and politics, as a result of growing up in Kenya.
• Strong determination in both physical, sporting and academic settings.
• Full Clean UK driving license.
