Information about Michael
Hello!
I have worked and studied in Architecture for the past 7 years. Having achieved both my MArch and Bachelors Degree in Architecture from the University of Sheffield. During my studies I was fortunate enough to win several awards and prizes, including the Mansell Jenkinson Prize for design excellence, the BDP Live Project prize for working with local communities and the RIBA North Award. Having gained my undergraduate degree in Architecture, with a First, I worked with an architectural practice in Manchester at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. Alongside my architectural degrees I have also graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Computer Visualisation, providing me with a wealth of knowledge in all major image production software, including the Adobe suite, Skethchup, VRay and so forth.
I am fully aware how daunting it can be to share and discuss design work - having gone through the process many times myself I can certainly empathise. I will always work with you in a patient and kind manner and hopefully keep it fun and lighthearted whilst helping you get to where you want to be. Through my degree studies and professional work I am able to provide tutoring in English Language for international students, architectural design and portfolio, as well as a range of software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, SketchUp and many more. Get in touch if there is a design based software you need to improve on and I am sure I can help.
I am keen to support any students, children or adults looking to improve their skills and education - especially during the Covid 19 pandemic which has effected peoples learning. Removing pressure from learning and instead helping you build your confidence in a style, and at a pace you are happy with!
With the current health situation I am only able to offer online sessions, but feel free to get in touch :)
Michael
