Experience: I support all levels of numeracy and literacy and have specialist materials for children who are Gifted and Talented as well as children with Special Educational Needs. I have many years’ experience supporting students with Attachment Disorders, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Autism and Aspersers Syndrome and English as an Additional Language.

I have up to date teaching and learning resources to support the recent changes in the Key Stage 2, 3 and KS4 Curriculum.

I like to gain as much information as possible as to where the child is academically through their school reports and by listening to their parents` concerns before I commence tutoring.

Specific learning goals and outcomes are outlined early in the tutoring arrangement. The child’s progress is regularly assessed, and parents are kept informed of progress.

I welcome pupils of all abilities and strive to get all my students to achieve their potentials. I request that all my pupils have homework books, an organised folder and undertake their homework weekly. Parents are kept up to date with their children’s learning and guidance is given as to how to further support their children’s learning between lessons.

I have invested heavily in securing up to date examination board specific resources to ensure that all my students excel when undertaking their GCSE and other public exams. Although all examination boards cover the same subject content, each examination board has a different style of questioning. I have supported GCSE English Language and Literature students for the AQA, Eduqas and Edexcel examination boards and GCSE Maths students for the AQA and Edexcel examination boards.

Berkeley tutored my both children last academic year whilst in primary school and they have made a vast progress. My children loved her, she had a very genuine and organised approach. Berkeley successfully spotted their areas of improvement and found solutions to tackle them. Highly recommended.
