Information about Matthew

I am an experienced teacher/tutor, and a Modern Languages (French and Italian) graduate of Oxford University, with a PGCE in Languages, and Qualified Teacher Status. I teach French and Spanish at an independent school in Banbury. I have a sympathetic and professional approach to understanding the real needs of my students before embarking on a tailored course of study. I offer French to A Level, Spanish and Italian to GCSE (or any of these languages for fun and leisure), as well as English as a Foreign Language to students of all ages and all levels.

Availability: Immediate, mostly evenings, some daytime tuition, potentially every other weekend.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Five years spent teaching in the UK, Italy, Spain and France. 2014 PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status, delivered by Warwick University, and including the academic year spent teaching at two Academies in Coventry. Currently a permanent teacher of French and Spanish at an independent school in Banbury.

Five years spent in French-speaking West Africa, seven years in Paris, six years in Italy, one year in Spain.
