My formal qualifications are BA Hons humanities with history. This degree contained several modules in English literature. I have also studied mathematics , human biology, psychology and sociology to `A` level standard.
I have worked in sales for a number of years and also previously ran my own business on the island.
I have two grown up daughters: one is a teacher and the other works in events in London. I took a keen interest in their education and enjoy working with young people.

Availability: Most evenings and Saturday mornings

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have recently qualified as a primary school teacher. I specialise in tutoring those struggling with gaining a level 4/5 (old level `c` ) in GCSE maths
I have also taught English literature to GCSE Level covering Shakespeare, poetry and plays.
