Information about Joanna
I am a highly successful teacher of English Language and Literature with 30 years` experience as both a schoolteacher and a provider of personal tuition. I am supportive and approachable, and tailor my teaching carefully to the individual student`s needs. I have experience of teaching a very wide range of literature texts set by different examination boards, and also act as a marker for AQA at AS level. I offer tuition at levels AS/A2, GCSE, IB, KS3 and KS2 and can also proof-read dissertations at HE level.
Availability: Available seven days a week, time by negotiation. At present I am not offering online tuition, only face-to-face.

Experience: I taught English from 1985 to 2011 and have worked extensively with both boys and girls for several years at a number of independent tutorial colleges.

Liam, did not click with Joanna and so we had to stop the lessons
Tutors Response :
I was warned in advance that Liam might refuse to speak at all during our single hour long session together. In the event, we managed some written character-profile work on ‘Of Mice and Men’ but Liam warned me (very nicely) that it would be our one and only lesson!

My child only attended one lesson , he said in that hour he only talked with the tutor,and didn`t do any work at all. I was looking forward to go in side the house on the first lesson and discuss a few things,also make sure my child was comfortable, but I was told at the door step by the tutor to collect my child in an hour.
