I am an OCR Psychology teacher and tutor. I have been a teacher for 15 years. Judged `OUTSTANDING` by Ofsted and have a proven track record of supporting students in achieving high grades. I am qualified and experienced in teaching and tutoring both GCSE and A level Psychology. I am down to earth, friendly and approachable and work with students of all abilities.

Experience: A 36 year old graduate of Psychology (2.1), I have previously worked as a Social Science Head of department in an 11-18 community school for 3 years. I have taught AQA A-level Psychology for 3 years, including the new specification for the last 2 years which i have a detailed understanding of.
I am experienced in supporting students in developing their essay writing skills, applying knowledge and understanding of Psychology to exam questions and meeting assessment objectives (AO1, AO2, AO3).


I also have 6 years experience of GSCE Psychology in my first teaching post in an 11-16 setting.

In my last job i worked as a Psychology teacher, teaching OCR Psychology GCSE and A Level.

I have been tutoring Psychology for 9 years successfully. I am also an OCR examiner trained by OCR and experienced in marking OCR assessment papers.

Currently i teach WJEC Criminology diploma and tutor in both Psychology and Criminology.
