Information about Nemone
I have a joint honours degree in French and Spanish, a PGCE in modern foreign languages and over 20 years teaching experience. I was a Jolie Ronde licensee for 2 years and have tutored for 9 years whilst also teaching three years at the primary level. I taught 10 years at secondary level and I specialize in helping raise GCSE grades and also have experience with the International Baccalaureate.
I believe it is important to analyse how each student learns using Howard Gardener`s theory of multiple intelligences to maximize their potential. Throughout my career I have observed that students learn more when they are enjoying what they are learning. Therefore, as part of my planning process I like to design teaching materials that target the strengths, weaknesses and interests of my students. Mnemonics, songs, rhymes, stories, games and role-plays make the grammar and vocabulary of the target language easier to remember. I draw on a variety of the latest resources available to foreign language teachers including websites such as Linguafun (for younger children) and Linguascope (for older students).
I am recently DBS checked.

Nemone is gentle, patient and invokes a great sense of fun to her sessions. My son is only four but is engaged and enthusiastic in her sessions. I would highly recommend her.
