Friendly and committed VIOLIN and VIOLA teacher
Graduated from Royal Academy of Music with Master`s Degree. I have been playing violin/viola for over 20 years now. I am an experienced chamber and orchestral musician. Before the pandemic I took part in Southbank Sinfonia programme where I got to perform in various settings as well as work with children in workshops and kids concerts. I also perform with professional orchestras as an extra player.
As a teacher I believe that every child is different and therfore I have a very individual approach to every student. Trying to find their strenghts, building self confidence and help them enjoy music are only some of my goals.

Experience: I have been teaching privately and in primary schools for over 10 years now. I have experience with beginners as well as advanced students of all ages (4yo+). I have also taken part in workshops in various primary schools during my `Creative learning & participation` course. I can prepare for ABRSM exams, supervise practice or help discover the instrument and musical skills. I am familiar with the Suzuki method.

Anita is a very experienced violin tutor, especially for young kids. My daughter is a total beginner and a little bit shy about communicating. Now she has acquired a lot of skills in violin and feels more confident. Also, Anita is very helpful for the parent with any questions, such as how to arrange my daughter`s daily practice routine, instrument choosing, etc.

Structured, calm and intuitive, we had Anita for 3 lessons in the holidays to prepare our 5yo daughter for violin lessons at school as a term behind. She now feeling confident and reading some music. Thanks

Anita is a great violin tutor. She has a very positive approach and immediately connected very well with my five-year-old son. She is very well organised and her sessions offer the right mix of practice and theory to keep a kid focused and happy even after a long school day. She is also very pleasant and extremely helpful for the parents for any queries (such as of finding the right type and size of violin, tuning it, etc.)
