I have been a teacher for 30 years, teaching both adults and KS4 learners.
I am based in Stourbridge but will travel if required. I am friendly and approachable with a detailed knowledge of the current curriculum as a teacher and a moderator.

Experience: I have worked within the FE sector for 30 years as a lecturer and have delivered from Entry Level to GCSE English. I have a particular interest in learning issues and have supported many learners with conditions varying from dyslexia to Asperger’s Syndrome. I also work as an assessor for AQA and as a Standard’s Verifier for Edexcel.

Sarah has been an excellent tutor for our son. She assessed his needs quickly and enabled him to improve his English language and literature skills. She had a great rapport with our son, and he said, "It was if she knew me before she met me." I would highly recommend Sarah as a tutor.

Sarah really tried very hard to reach my Aspergers son, who shut down and refused to communicate, after being very rude to her.
Sarah was fantastic. She was calm and unflustered, tried a variety of methods to engage him and when it was clear he was not going to cooperate gave him some wonderful advice which I know he listened to even if he didn`t respond. She also gave me some very good advice and pointers on how to proceed.
We are now hoping that our son decides that he needs some help, at which point I will definitely be calling on Sarah again.
I highly recommend her!
