Passionate about giving children the best start in life, I am committed to working with primary children of all levels.
I have worked within the state and private sector, as well as an international school in Italy.
I believe that tutoring is not just about teaching the child new skills, but also about building their confidence and self esteem to enable them to develop an `I can` attitude towards learning.
It is important to be able to create a supportive relationship with both my students and parents to ensure that they are both getting the best they can out of the tutoring sessions.
Working with the school they attend is something I find really beneficial, both for me, the child and for their current class teacher. I feel that this creates a better foundation for which they can build upon.

Availability: weekdays 3pm-7pm

Experience: I have worked within a state, private and international school with ages 3 to 11. Having spent most of my teaching career working with 7,8 and 9 year olds.
I have also spent the past two summers tutoring maths and mental maths, as well as reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation. I can be flexible on what I teach depending on the level and needs of the child - whether it be to help them to `catch up`, revise or simply to boost their confidence in their ability.
