I have a proven track record for improving students’ confidence and attainment in Maths.

I have access to all the teaching resources I have used and created in 12 years of classroom teaching. This enables me to immediately provide students with appropriate and challenging tasks in the areas of the subject where they most require support.

I have an in-depth and up to date knowledge of the curriculum and can therefore facilitate learning that is relevant to the GCSE examinations.

One to one tuition allows the lesson to progress at a pace which is ideally suited to individual students in an environment where they can always feel comfortable in asking questions.

I set homework that gives the student the opportunity to obtain further practice and demonstrate their understanding when working independently which forms the basis for subsequent lessons.

Availability: I AM CURRENTLY OFFERING ONLINE TUITION AT WEEKENDS AND ALSO FROM 4PM ON WEEKDAYS WHILST SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS.

This support provides students with the opportunity to use this time to address areas of weakness in the subject and to cover the sections of the scheme of work that will be missed due to the closure of schools.

During my 12 years as a full-time Maths teacher I consistently succeeded in helping students obtain and exceed their target grades at GCSE.

My work as a private tutor since 2006 has enabled students to make rapid and sustained progress (of up to 3 grades) in a subject area where they were initially struggling.
