As an engineer, the skills I developed are very useful to me as a tutor. Maths, Physics and Chemistry are fundamental for engineering. These are subjects I love and excel at and combined with my love for tutoring brings excellent progress to my students.

Experience: I have more than 1500 hours tutoring experience helping GCSE, A-level and University students. I have also tutored more than 35 repeat students. My students love my unique approach to tutoring and have left a lot of positive feedback with regards to that.

I believe that I have relevant skills and experiences that position me to be an outstanding tutor. As a degree-qualified engineer who is educated up to post-graduate level, I have developed skills that are useful to me as a tutor. As a life-long learner myself and one who regularly trains, coaches and mentors people through my other businesses – I have developed an understanding of how people learn.

As a degree-qualified mechanical engineer who is educated up to post-graduate level, the skills I developed are very useful to me as a tutor. Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are core fundamental subjects at GCSE and A-level for studying mechanical engineering and my educational qualifications and work experiences have provided me with a lot of experience in these areas. These are subjects I love and excel at and combined with my love for tutoring brings excellent value to my students.

As part of my national service, I have had 6 months -1 year experience teaching and tutoring students preparing for GCSE equivalent exams in the most challenging conditions in a remote Nigerian village. I thought them Maths, Physics and Chemistry, including laboratory work and was the first science teacher the students had in three years. Because they were quite behind in their preparations for the GCE exams, I had to also have extra tutoring sessions with the students during after-school hours. The school principal, teaching staff and students appreciated my contributions as the students made good progress.

I am a keen user of technology in the two businesses I currently run and have been throughout my educational pursuits. I regularly carry out online and in-person coaching and training and I am conversant with most technological options to do so.

In my other businesses, I interact with clients from around the world. This gives me good experience in dealing with people from diversified cultural and other backgrounds.

As a result of the activities and businesses I am currently involved in, I have great flexibility and can make myself available to undertake tutoring roles when required.
