I am a passionate primary school teacher. My aim is to help children become the best version of themselves, achieving the best possible outcome for them and supporting them to do so. I love helping children and making them happy throughout learning and providing a caring attitude to help them feel comfortable. Tutoring children is a huge passion of mine, being able to support them closely with their learning, making it engaging and showing them they are capable of everything they put their mind into. With Maths I love using resources to allow children to feel engaged into the workings out and writing can be so creative which I also love.
Availability: Evenings Monday-Friday 5-8.
Weekends anytime.
School holidays anytime.

Experience: I am a recently qualified teacher with lots of different experience in different primary school settings and different ages. I am currently teaching a year 1 class but I am looking to bring my passion outside of work to help young children with their learning and education. I have 6 months of tutoring experience in a primary school setting and have recently began tutoring but have lots of availability!

Ella is a wonderful, kind and caring tutor that helps our 8 year old Son with English (and some maths). He has been having Ella once a week for over a month now and he is so content with her. Ella is organised when arranging the next sessions and makes sure to check in with me at the end of the session. She messages to check we are still on for our sessions and she turns up on time ready to get started! Communication was very good with Ella from the start. She asked plenty of questions and gained a good amount of information so she could adapt her lessons appropriately. Ella structures her lessons really well and she keeps him concentrating for the whole hour. She uses a range of learning resources so the lessons are interesting. Ella uses positive reinforcement, praise and rewards which keeps him on track. She is very encouraging and helps him every step of the way. He has progressed already which we are so happy with. Ella is like a real life Miss Honey and we will definitely recommend her to friends and family!
