Information about Stephanie
I am a medical doctor - I graduated with an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) and BSc in Medical Physics & Bioengineering from UCL. I have been tutoring the sciences and maths for the last 10 years since I started Medical School and I have continued to do so; the main reason being that I have been so proud of the students I have taught and the things they have achieved following improvements of their grades.
I care a lot for my students and adapt my teaching style to each student individually. At present I am only tutoring Maths and am limited to the number of students I can take each term.
Availability: I work on site (Baffins). For 2 hour sessions, I offer a £10 concession (£40 instead of £50)
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been tutoring for the past 10 years; I have seen many of my higher tier students improve from a B to an A* (6 to an 8/9 in new GCSE equivalent) and foundation tier students improve from an F to a C (1-2 to 4 new GCSE equivalent). I’ have just completed tutoring the first year of the new 1-9 curriculum of GCSEs and am very proud of the outcome of how my students have performed!

Stephanie was my daughter`s tutor for GCSE math`s. Stephanie was an excellent tutor. She made my daughter feel at ease, gave encouragement & made her believe in herself. Stephanie has a wonderful teaching style about her which is calm & methodical. I would strongly recommend Stephanie as a tutor only wish we had found her sooner.

Stephanie`s work with our daughter has been amazing and a real boost to her learning.
From day one she made her feel at ease and took time in advance to understand where our daughter thought her weakest areas on the IGCSE Maths syllabus were. Over the last few months Stephanie has helped our daughter significantly improve on her weaker areas, try successful new techniques across relevant parts of the syllabus and, ultimately, gain the additional confidence she needed to approach her summer IGCSE exams.
We would highly recommend Stephanie, for her personable and highly effective teaching style and her ongoing patience with our daughter; ensuring that she fully understood each area covered and could apply that understanding to both set homework tasks and numerous past papers.
