I’m a qualified science teacher with PGCE and also a pharmacology graduate, recently became Head of Chemistry. Teaching is a passion of mine and I love to help children shape their future.
I am someone who has been tutoring for a long period of time and I am familiar with all major exam boards. Having me as a tutor will benefit your child and put them one step ahead of their peers.
I produce great results and look to improve students at least two grade boundaries. Working with me, not only are you benefiting from the vast resources I hold as a teacher but I have unique teaching methods in ways that does not only focus on subject content but also exam tips and tricks which will benefit the student.
Working in retail for a numerous years has made it very easy for me to adapt in different situations and to different people so I like to believe that I can get along with everyone. Everyone is different and I use this concept to adapt my teaching to my students to benefit them depending on their capabilities and learning style.

Shahrin is currently helping my 15 yo daughter with Chemistry. We are both very happy. Shahrin is flexible, passionate and experienced and able to make a meaningful relationship with a teen ager, which is essential.

Shahrin has been helping my 16 year old son with his first year of Chemistry A Level. She is organised, punctual and incredibly knowledgeable. She has used various techniques to make the lessons more engaging which is particularly helpful in keeping a teenager motivated and interested. My son actually said that she has been able to explain very complex areas far better than his teachers at school!! Highly recommended.
