Information about Charlotte
I am an extremely personable and hardworking individual who loves helping people achieve their goals. Creating an exciting and encouraging atmosphere in my lessons is my priority. I will help to break down even the most difficult of questions using simplified methods to aid understanding.
I am highly capable of providing tutoring for Maths and Physics at A-Level and GCSE, and for Further Maths at A-Level. I am also able to provide help with admissions for Oxbridge university applicants. Having recently completed my Masters degree in General and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and obtaining a First, I am able to provide a variety of tutoring for a variety of Engineering modules at university level.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have experience of one-on-one tutoring AS Level Mathematics (Edexcel) to students which included core, mechanics and statistics modules at Colston`s School (an independent school in Bristol). This was whilst I was studying for A2 Level. Using my own experiences and understanding to aid students with particular problems they encountered was highly rewarding. I also assisted a teacher in GCSE Mathematics classes to help provide additional support when students encountered difficulties with the material. This required me to communicate effectively with individual students for their specific questions with good time efficiency to keep the lessons on time. I have also taught an Economics lesson to a class of 10 students (13-15 years old) at Oxford Royale Academy summer school which required much interaction with the students.
