Hello, I am an enthusiastic and hard-working 18 year old student with a very positive mindset towards my studies. I have achieved three A-levels in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics and am now in my first year of University studying Forensic Science. I was diagnosed with mild dyslexia a couple of years ago in Year 12 and so have developed the ability to adapt to and understand various ways of teaching and learning throughout my years of schooling. My own experiences have fueled my drive to assist others and ensure they are confident in themselves when trying to progress in their own education.
Although I would plan the content, I use a student-centered approach when it comes to teaching. I like to understand how the student approaches their work and what styles of teaching keeps them engaged with the task. This would then give an insight into how to develop their knowledge into the ability to complete practice exam questions.

Experience: I previously had the opportunity to be a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) captain at Coopers` Company and Coborn School in Year 13 and through this I was able to mentor students in the younger years and encourage their improvement.
