I am an Italian qualified Modern foreign language teacher.

After my Master`s degree in Foreign Languages (German and English) I started working as a teacher of Italian and I realised this was indeed my vocation. I decided, therefore, to get the certificate “Ditals” at the University of Siena to teach Italian as a foreign and second language and the teaching qualification (Pgce) at the University of Pisa to become a foreign language teacher.

In 2005 I took my post-graduate Master certificate in Teaching and promotion of Italian Language at the University “Ca` Foscari” of Venice.

In 2016 I moved to England and I had my certificates translated and I got a QTS.

Experience: I have taught Italian, German and English for 15 years to high school students and adults learners in Italy. My responsibilities included the organisation of Italian classes for foreign students, the teaching of Italian and German language and literature and the preparation and marking of exam papers.
Since October 2017 I have been teaching German at the Language Centre of the University of Warwick.

I had the opportunity to explore new cross-languages approaches to teaching and the use of new technologies like Moodle to enhance the language learning process.

My passion for teaching foreign languages has always been supported by a good knowledge of pedagogy and the interest in technology enhanced learning.
