Pete really knows his stuff and teaches in a relaxed, cheerful style. He has helped my child improve in her A level mathematics and she really enjoys learning from him.

I found Pete on the tutor hunt website based on the reviews that others had left and I was not disappointed. My son has only had 5 weekly tutor sessions for A level Maths and Physics (1 hour for each subject) and already we are seeing a difference in test results and my son`s knowledge and confidence in both subjects. Pete is lead by need, providing targeted support as and when it arises, a particular topic to fill gaps in knowledge, revision work for tests and help with homework. Pete also provides work for inbetween sessions which is lead by my son, he can do as much or as little as he needs to depending on what other school work he has. My son`s feedback is that Pete teaches and explains through example and goes at a pace he can keep up with, he is able to grasp concepts much easier than in the classroom where he doesn`t feel able to ask for something to be repeated or explained again. We are delighted with our son`s progress so far, both academically and emotionally. We feel Pete has been able to tailor his tutoring to meet our son`s needs.

Really helpful, put my child at ease and quickly established where they were up to. Clear explanations and checking understanding whilst working through content and questions. Well prepared and suggested work to be done before next session. Clear emails updating what was next and so on. Highly recommended
