I have over 10 years teaching experience across the key stages. I have a secure understanding of the expectations for the end of key stage assessments where I have also taken on the role as an assessment marker.
I have proven success in enabling students to improve their confidence and motivation - allowing them to strive and reach their potential.

Experience: I have tutored across the key stages from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. Whether it’s KS2 SATs or GCSE’s, I have tutored many students to be successful and confident in their end of school tests.
My tutoring is proven to reach results; those I have had the opportunity to tutor have successfully met and even exceeded their target grades and expectations.
I am currently a Year 6 Primary School teacher with a strong passion for all students to succeed and reach their potential. I have experience of all Key Stages in the primary sector, however I have mostly taught in Year 6 with clear expectations for the SATs assessments and the requirements for secondary school.

Abbie is a fantastic tutor and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for additional primary school level tuition. My daughter in year 6 was really struggling in the lead up to SATs. Her confidence had taken a knock and she had little belief in her own abilities. Abbie was brilliant in building that confidence back up and filling the gaps in my daughters learning. She has a lovely style of teaching that is warm, caring, patient & encouraging.
The outcome - My daughter did well in her SATs achieving above the national average in all of them!

Abbie is an excellent tutor. My daughter says she feels like a light has been switched on for her. She really enjoys her tutor sessions and has even asked for extras sessions in the lead up to her SATS.
