Information about Sue
I am a qualified secondary school French teacher with over 30 years’ experience teaching students aged 11-16. I have a proven track record of success at GCSE. Last year, students I tutored achieved at least 2 grades higher than when they started. I also support students with school homework and am available for help and guidance outside of lesson time if required. I have also taught French in a number of primary schools.
I am passionate about helping children to reach their full potential and am confident that through 1:1 support I can help children who are finding learning difficult or are lacking in confidence. Tuition can be tailored to individual needs whether it is for exam preparation or just for fun.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends during the exam period.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am a qualified secondary school French teacher with over 30 years’ experience teaching pupils aged 11-16. I am very knowledgeable about the AQA exam board and have an extensive range of material to guide students through exams. Many students go on to exceed teacher predicted grades and I am delighted that many have gone on to study languages at University.

Sue is an excellent French tutor, she has a brilliant rapport with my daughter who rated Sue very highly ( better than her French teacher!!) Sue has really gone the extra mile to help my daughter with her preparation for her GCSE. She has gone through and enhanced all her speaking questions and recorded them to help with pronunciation. My daughters writing has improved in the few weeks she had been working with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with GCSE French
