Information about Joshua
Hi I`m Josh and I am currently in my fourth year of Medical School at University College London (UCL), with an first class honours undergraduate degree in Immunology, Infection and Cell Pathology. I have always had a passion for acquiring new knowledge and sharing this knowledge with other people. I have a particular interest in Biology and its relevance to almost all aspects of everyday life. In addition to a Biology A-level, I took Chemistry. I would be happy to teach both of these subjects to anyone who is taking GCSEs or A levels, is at a primary or secondary school level, or is simply a casual learner with a passion for the subject.
Availability: I am currently available for online sessions on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: - During the last year, I have been an anatomy peer tutor for 1st and 2nd year medical students.
- I have tutored a number of students in Biology and Chemistry, either on a regular basis or in the form of an intensive course
- I mentored three 15 year olds in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, for four months. I found this to be a valuable teaching experience and gained an understanding of the different approach needed for different student.
- I have also worked with children and teenagers with special needs and learning difficulties whilst working for a charity serving the needs of vulnerable people
