My name`s Oscar, and I`m 19 years old I`m a student at the University of Leeds currently in my second year. I study Liberal Arts, majoring in English Literature. Having completed A-Levels in English, Maths, and History, I wanted to study a broad subject to engage my wide range of interests and so far have been really enjoying my studies.

I have a passion for learning and teaching others, and I firmly believe education to be one of the most important parts of the lives of children, teenagers and adults alike. Furthermore, when done right, education should be an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

Outside of academia, I enjoy playing football and music, taking Piano to Grade 8.

Availability: During the week, I can arrange times for tutoring around my studies, and can be relatively flexible to suit your needs.

At weekends, I am free so again I can be flexible from one week to the next, or set up a regular day and time - whichever suits you.

I am based in Hyde Park, Leeds, but happy to travel a reasonable distance to tutor.

Experience: I have worked at `Explore Learning Tuition Centre` in Birmingham, tutoring groups of 6 of mixed ages and abilities (from 5-15 years old). This was in English and Maths, ranging from basic reading skills up to GCSE-level maths and comprehension exercises.

I also took specialist classes in 11+ Entrance exam tuition, helping a group of 6 to prepare for the exam, as well as creative writing sessions. I went to the top grammar school in Birmingham, King Edward Camp Hill School for Boys, so have experienced the high demand of work required for this exam!

I worked on `NCS The Challenge` as a Support Worker, organising activities in outdoor pursuits, team games, live productions and community work, so working with children is something I have experience in and really enjoy. I also had a two-week work placement at Harborne Primary School, where I worked as a teaching assistant, aiding in one-on-one reading classes.
