Experienced Private Tutor teaching English Language, English Literature, Latin and English as a Second Language.

Students of all ages accepted from elementary through to adult. Coaching for School/Common Entrance, IGCSE/GCSE, AS/A Level, IB. Familiar with all UK Exam Boards.

Proof reading and editing of academic papers, undergraduate, Masters and PhD, and business documents for accurate grammar and meaning. Particularly skilled with university level students for whom English is not their first language and who require assistance with writing in academic register. I encourage students to be confident and to recognise the relevance of English Language and Literature to impact their lives and their future careers.

Experience: I have repatriated from Dubai where I taught both English Language and Literature to students of many nationalities and cultures. I also taught English as a Second Language and Business English (Aviation and Law).

All my students have either attained their required grades or improved their predicteds.

I major on mentoring the importance of English as a communication vehicle in whatever career they may wish to follow. Cogent, disciplined and methodical writing may not a best-selling author make, but it might ultimately make a student the best entrepreneur, business person, mathematician or scientist.

I have many years experience with online tuition as many of my students are resident overseas. Students adapt immediately to the online medium which is, in itself, a skill transferable to contemporary lifestyle.
