Exam technique focused, friendly, student centred tutoring experience utilising the analysis and evaluation of examination questions combined with experience of being A level examiner and a practicing teacher at a local secondary school and have 29 years experience in teaching secondary Science to GCSE level and A level Biology. Was awarded Royal Society of Biology Teacher of the Year 2023. Feedback on student progress central to tutoring and empowering that progress.
Students will see their progress quickly develop which fires their own enthusiasm and self motivation for further progress.
Wide variety of resources linked directly into exam board used and avaliable for students to use during and out of tutoring sessions.

I have had 4 kids who have had various tutors over the years and hands down Andy is the best! We were so lucky to have found him. He engaged with my son and had him excited about the subject matter. He also taught him various strategies to aim for the top marks which despite reasonable knowledge my son was doing fairly badly as he was not hitting the marks schemes. My son said he understood how all the various topics interconnected which is something that has never been taught to him previously. My son has also been shocked at how a lot of topics were "glossed over" at school and never taught properly. I was equally shocked as my son went to a fee paying private school and the teaching was not even half as good as that taught by Andy. No wonder Andy won Biology Teacher of the Year award from none other than the Royal Society of Biology !! Well done Andy :-) So If I don`t manage to convince you, just take a look at this national competition where he competed against other Biology teachers across the land and was awarded this at a reception held at the Houses of Parliament. Yes you have read this right ! Your tutor hunt is over, and if you are luck enough to get Andy you are truly blessed ! Thank you so much Andy, we are forever in your debt.

Andy Love is quite simply wonderful. He has a real rapport with his students, and builds their confidence. His lessons are detailed, based on info that will help them with their exams, and he provides feedback and resources after each lesson. Our lessons have been for A level Biology, and all have been online. I was worried about the online bit before the first lesson, but in fact it has worked brilliantly.
