I`m a CELTA qualified English as a foreign language teacher and have over two years of teaching & private tutoring experience with teenagers, university students and adults. I`m passionate about learning and giving my students the confidence and motivation to achieve their goals whether that be to pass an exam or simply to improve their confidence!

Getting to know my students is what I enjoy most about my job, and is what gets the best results. We`ll work on activities that you enjoy and that help move you towards your goals.

Experience: I spent a year teaching English in France in businesses, privately and at the University of Strasbourg and have since continued teaching English in the UK as well as tutoring KS3 Maths which now focuses very much on working towards the new GCSE syllabus and exam preparation.

I specialise in one-to-one and small group classes both face-to-face, over the telephone and online.

In English as a foreign language I have delivered a range of courses including conversational English, Business English, English for holidays & tourism and academic English. I`ve taught students from all over the world so I`m experienced in the unique difficulties that speakers of different native languages face when learning English.

I am up-to-date with the Maths KS3 & GCSE syllabuses and always use these to inform advice and strategies for exam-focused tutoring. I like to think that because I`m not a Maths teacher per se I can help students think outside the bos in order to understand Maths problems and how to tackle them.

I`m also constantly updating my ideas and teaching methods through my membership of various teaching associations and forums in order to offer my students the best service possible.
