Information about Polly (helan)
I am a qualified teacher and have many years experience of delivering one to one teaching to students from primary school age upwards to adults. I am also qualified to teach people with Dyslexia. I currently teach children with addition needs including emotional health needs.
I have struggled with the effects of being dyslexic myself which gives me an in-site in to how students can feel.
There are many reasons children need extra support as they go through the education system in England but I believe every child can achieve success with the right structure and input. Most of all they should enjoy their time when learning outside of the school day.
Many adults feel they have been failed by the education system. I can offer support to gain those basic skills that have alluded them in school but can now make the most of their life skills and move forward.
My ambition is to help as many people as possible to avoid the struggles I had at school.
Availability: Monday to Friday lessons 45 to 60 minutes in duration depending on the age of the student. I am available for catch up sessions all summer. Please let me if I can help you or your child in their education. I can also offer tuition on a flexiable basis to fit around work schedules and other commitiments.

Polly is a great tutor. She makes me feel very at easy while having my tutoring. My reading and writing skills have improved and for the first time in 40+ years I am not finding words scary. I would highly recommend Polly as a tutor.
