I am a Foundation Year 1 doctor working in London having graduated from the University of Warwick Medical School with a merit. I have also achieved a First Class Honours degree in Biochemistry and the University of Nottingham.

I have 5 years experience tutoring on this platform and others both face-to-face and over video. During this time I have developed a range of interactive presentations that provide up to date information on topics within each syllabus. In addition, I have 2 years of experience mentoring A-level students who are looking to apply to medical school, helping with things such as applications, personal statements, work experience advice, examinations and interviews. Further to this I have provided general advice regarding applications to university. I also have 3 years experience providing teaching on specific topics to medical students at University of Warwick.

The content that I have produced provides information in an easily digestible format that is constantly updated to provide the most relevant teaching for each student. I feel my interactive style provides a calm and safe learning environment for the student, helping to maintain engagement and concentration. I cater my teaching style to each individual student to provide a personalised approach. This helps to pinpoint particular methods that the student will respond to best. I feel my recent/ongoing experience of the educational system enables me to relate to the pressures and difficulties the students face helping me to tailor my sessions to them personally.

I really enjoy teaching and my experience over the last few years has enabled me to develop as a tutor, learning many lessons along the way. The most important of which is that each student is different. A student should not be expected to adapt to the teacher, but the teacher should adapt to fit them. This helps to facilitate the specific goals of each student, whether that is bumping up grades or maximising potential. We want to learn together as a team, and if we can enjoy ourselves in the process, bonus.
