Information about Zoe
I am currently working in a large secondary school in Manchester and have been a teacher of Geography for over 20 years and am therefore very experienced in the field of education. Additionally, I have been tutoring individual students for around 10 years at all levels (KS3-5). I make my lessons fun and accessible whilst using many different teaching styles and techniques to match individual needs. Having been an examiner for the AQA board for the past 4 years, I therefore have much knowledge and experience as to how to answer exam questions effectively and how to gain maximum marks. I am also up to date with the new Geography linear specifications and the changes to exam style questions both at GCSE and A`level. Therefore, if you are struggling with Geographical concepts and ideas, want to gain confidence or simply want to improve your exam performance I would be more than happy to help.
Availability: Available weekends and limited weekdays after school. Can do online tutorials if preferred.

Experience: Teacher of Geography to A2, AS, GCSE, IGCSE, KS3. Have taught IB and MYP when working in an international school.

Very professional, kind, and patient teacher. I just started to have lessons with Ms Zoe in January and I had my GCSE exam in May. I was only getting a Grade 6 in the winter exam, and ended up getting an 8 in my actual gcse. (only a few marks out of 9). Thanks a lot to Miss Zoe for my big improvement, because the geography teachers in my school do not teach very well, so I learned most of the content with Zoe. She has a very good knowledge of the curriculum and exam techniques. We practiced past paper questions and she will mark those for me, so I am not afraid of long questions as much as I was before.
