I am a fully qualified teacher with many years experience teaching pupils 4 to 14 years.. I tutor for independent school entrance, 5+ to 13+. ISEB. Also SATS

My lessons are tailored to my pupil`s individual needs and interests. I can support children who are struggling with specific areas of the school curriculum, as well as being able to stretch and challenge the more able pupils. I am patient and enthusiastic as well as being a firm believer in the importance of developing confidence and a love of learning. Learning should be an enjoyable experience and I pride myself with building an excellent rapport with my pupils .

I tutor largely online but will consider face to face lessons.

My fee is £36 to £45 per hour, I can offer an initial free trial lesson.

Availability: I tutor throughout the week, weekends and school holidays.

Experience: I am a very experienced former Junior and lower secondary school class teacher, covering all subjects, with a focus on the importance of developing confidence and high standards with all aspects of English and Maths. I have worked as a tutor for 5 years with most of: my tutees coming from personal recommendation.

As well as maths and English I can offer all subjects at Junior and lower secondary level- verbal and non-verbal reasoning, history, geography, science etc.

I have tutored pupils to gain entrance at a range of independent schools, both in the UK and overseas. These include Butte House (St. Paul’s Girls), St. Paul’s Boys, Westminster Unders, Kings College, Wimbledon, Dulwich Prep, North London Collegiate, Alleyn’s, Garden House, Francis Holland etc. Also Eton, Harrow, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Christ Hospital, Dubai College etc.
