I am an English and French tutor who loves to share my passion for languages with my students. Welcome to my page!

I have been an enthusiast of all things French for as long as I can remember, which is why I decided to study Business with French at university. I have lived and worked in France for a number of years and on my return to the UK I pursued a career in the relocation industry for over 10 years, where I worked with people whose first language was not English on a daily basis.

Having spent so much time in multilingual and multi-cultural environments, I have a real appreciation of how nuanced English and French are. It has also given me an insight into how they are used by people from all over the world and, consequently, ignited my passion to pursue a career as an English and French teacher.

I help students to sound like native and gain confidence in formal and social situations
I teach students ‘real’ language that helps them adapt locally - ways of speaking that people actually use right now, not just “text book speak”
I coach people in how to use the language with sensitively to achieve more in their professional lives
I provide a fun and stress-free introduction to English and French for toddlers

My skills and strengths:
Lessons are adapted to suit the student, be it a toddler or an adult and I tailor my teaching style to the needs of my pupils, treating them as individuals
I have an enormous amount of empathy and can relate to the challenges of speaking in a second language

Availability: Available Monday to Friday during school hours for face to face and online lessons, and in the evenings for online lessons also.
