Friendly and professional, I tailor every session to fit the needs of my student. I take pride in the achievements of my students, and work hard to ensure they realize their full potential - and get the best grades possible.
Rock climbing, bouldering, hiking and cooking take up most of my free time. I`m an avid traveller, health and fitness enthusiast and self taught guitarist. I love to challenge myself and learn new things, my most recent venture being to learn Spanish!

Experience: With 1600+ hours of online tutoring experience, I have found great success improving confidence, developing understanding, and boosting exam results of students by several grades. My specialty is A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. My background in Medical Engineering allows me to offer real world examples of the concepts being learnt. This help students develop a more intuitive understanding of what they are learning.
I have a good track record of students scoring high grades, with top 3 students from the past academic year achieving A* in Physics, A in Physics and an A* and A in Maths and Physics respectively (summer 2022). This will be updated with the most recent cohort information in August.
On top of this, I offer support and guidance for university applications. Having been excepted into all 5 of my university choices, as well as helping dozens of students get into their 1st choices, I have a good understanding of what universities are looking for in personal statements and interviews.

Daniel has been tutoring my 17yo son in both Maths and Physics for the past few months. My son wants to achieve straight As to fulfil his ambition of studying Engineering at a top tier university. He is at a state school and doing well but needs extra help to get him over the line with these grades. Within no time at all, he said Daniel had helped him understand some key concepts in both subjects. Also, Daniel designed a revision timetable which he`s finding it easy to follow, taking away the headache of knowing what to revise and when. He is sitting his A levels this summer so time will tell but certainly Daniel is doing an incredible job of supporting my son.

You never know if the tutor you pick will be right as you select one based on their short intro on the website. Daniel was the right pick foe us for sure. He brought structure, discipline and just the right amount of ‘push’ for my son. We’re yet to find out how this is going to translate into Alevel results but I’m very positive and so is my son. He definitely feels more confident, his revision techniques improved and hopefully that will translate into just the right grade at the end! Thank you Daniel:)
