Hello!

I am an artist - learner - teacher, who is highly creative and passionate about being creative throughout all areas of one`s life.

Quentin Blake, the illustrator, believes `that drawing is the most important thing there is` and this surmises my thoughts too.

I am a qualified teacher of six years with a fast-held belief that everyone ought to receive the opportunity to experience art for arts sake.

Dynamic and considered in my approach to tutoring, I like to work in, and with, the moment. I encourage pupils to employ innovative and imaginative techniques to access and sustain `flow` to ensure that pupils create work that is innate, emotive, skilled and from within.

I keep tutee`s personal aspirations in mind at all times to ensure that their artistic potential is reached and ideally, exceeded.

Subject matter, mediums and techniques are tailored to individual requirements, creative experience, interest and ability.

All my tutees can expect to leave classes that much more artistically informed and inspired with a set of skills, understanding and knowledge that demonstrate improved artistry and a greater passion for art.

Experience: I have worked in a variety of educational settings across both the State and Private sector. For the past five years I have taught in highly academically achieving prep schools teaching the Arts, philosophy and languages.

I enjoy tutoring for scholarship application and portfolio preparation at 11 + as well as exploring with older tutees both components of GCSE: portfolio and assignment. I like to ensure all my tutees have courage with their creativity in order to flourish with their artistic aspirations and endeavours.
