I offer vocal coaching, guitar, English and Maths tuition from my base in Hingham, Norfolk. I offer face-to-face tuition only. I have a degree in Theology, specialising in music and am also qualified to teach up to year 11 in Christian Schools. I am currently working in a new band as keyboard player. I am also a published author under the pseudonym Ben C. Lawes. I am an ordained church minister and Bible Teaching Elder at Amplify church in Hardingham, Norfolk.

I am passionate about ensuring that students enjoy their tuition and no matter what standard you may be at, I will aim to bring out your best. To make this happen with singing I will concentrate initially on principles of posture, breath and tone. With guitar I will allow you to progress at your pace without any pressure in line with my own unique system. With all my tuition, coaching will be individually based and person-centred.

To ensure that your first lesson is the most productive, bring along some ideas for songs that you would like to cover if you enquiring for singing or guitar. If you are enquiring for Maths or English, a clear idea where your child is will help formulate a plan for them. The first lesson, which will be at a reduced rate, will be an opportunity for me to get to know you and create a plan in order for you to fulfil aspirations.

Availability: I currently have availability between 11am and 9PM, Monday to Friday.

Experience: I have been involved in the music profession for 20 years as an artist and producer, during which time I produced three solo albums of my own material and co-produced others. I have been involved in education for over 30 years covering a variety of subjects but my strengths are musically in singing and guitar and in academics in Maths and English. I have toured the USA and Canada whilst playing in a band as lead singer and rhythm guitarist. I am experienced in teaching younger beginners but my unique style of encouragement and fun will appeal to all levels.
