Information about Amy
I achieved a Masters degree in Theology from the University of Oxford. I have 20 years` experience teaching Religious Studies, Ethics and Philosophy, History of Art and English to all levels. I especially enjoy helping international students prepare to enter Oxford schools via the 11+ or 13+ or Common Entrance. I also really enjoy running and English book club and creative writing classes. Students have produced some amazing short novels!
I am a Christian with an open mind to all world religions and spiritual beliefs, with a friendly and helpful demeanour. I have also worked for over six years as the Community Manager of Wolsey Hall Oxford, the best Online International Homeschooling College in the world, accredited by Cambridge and founded in 1894. I just completed a certificate with SchoolPro TLC in Data Protection for Safeguarding Leads.

Experience: I have taught Religious Studies and Philosophy for many years one-on-one with students in Oxford tutorial colleges and privately. I have had fantastic results from my students, who go on to their chosen University even when some have suffered difficulties in their past schools and failed A levels many times. I have experience working with children with learning difficulties and emotional problems - anxiety as a teenager is a big issue with getting the best grades in school, and I can support students so that they can get excited about learning again. I am also able to help with the Oxford essay style and dissertations as a strong writer in my own right.
