I am currently a medical student at the University of Liverpool and I really enjoyed studying science and maths at both GCSE and A-Level. Medicine appealed to me because it was a field where I could broaden my knowledge and understanding both by learning and teaching whilst being able to interact with a variety of different people which I love doing as I am an extremely friendly and talkative individual. I was an average student who initially struggled with confidence in myself but after constant practice and developing my two-step method I excelled and saw my grades improve drastically enabling me to achieve all grades 7-9 in my GCSEs and A•AAA at A-Level. I have more than 2 years of experience in tutoring GCSE students who have gone on themselves to achieve Grades 7 and above. My chosen method of teaching consists of a student-centred approach as my aim is to boost my students confidence in their abilities alongside the academic teaching. I utilise a two-step method which involves first reviewing the content then attempting exam-style questions which helps improve both retention of knowledge and exam technique. This helps cement a good foundation for the student and ensures that they are exam ready and I know that this approach is suitable for students of all abilities and is a guaranteed grade booster. As a tutor I hope to be a source of guidance and will give my 100% to my students always trying my hardest to make it an enjoyable process.
