I am passionate about my subjects and love it when that enthusiasm for learning rubs off on my students.
As a teacher for over 10 years, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with a wide range of students from the Essex, London, Berkshire and Hampshire areas: I truly believe that every student has the ability to reach their full potential, they just sometimes need a little help to find it.
Availability: Mon and Tues

Experience: I have been a fully qualified KS3-KS4 English and Drama teacher for over 10 years, and have thorough experience of working with students with special education needs (including ASD and ADHD) and those with challenging life stories. I have taught English Functional Skills, iGCSE English, GCSE English Literature and Language, A-Level English Literature and Media Studies and have a broad knowledge of exam requirements (having also worked as an exam marker for OCR and Cambridge.)
Although I am an English teacher, I have also taught or tutored students in a variety of subjects including Media Studies, Film Studies and Child Development.

Early days yet but Sarah is confident with the GCSE curriculum and very quickly sussed out my 15 year old son`s ability. She is catering the sessions to suit him, which gives him much needed confidence but also encourages him to push himself. Sarah is very easy to communicate with and is very efficient via email. My son enjoys the sessions they have and is keen to complete homework promptly.

Sarah is brilliant. Very knowledgeable, and passionate about her subject. She is an overall lovely person. I wish we had started with her sooner.
