Information about Harley
A Psychology Graduate from the University of Exeter (1st Class hons). I achieved an average of 75.5% in my final year of university and I was awarded 83% on my dissertation which used fMRI in a task-switching cognitive experiment.
I have a strong academic background and a passion for teaching with 7 years tutoring experience. I have experience teaching individuals of all ages; that is, children, adolescents and, adults.
If you are looking for support in understanding content in Psychology, improving exam/assignment technique, or simply need to improve overall confidence in the subject, I can offer excellent guidance. As can be seen from my feedback from other students, the quality of support I can offer is of a very high standard and I am confident that I can assist in helping you exceed your academic expectations.
Availability: Available online at any time; simply get in touch and together we will establish a suitable schedule. I can be very flexible with dates and times of lessons, so even when we have determined a schedule, if this needs to be ammended, simply let me know.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I have been an academic tutor ever since graduating from an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I now have over 7 years experience and with my experience on Tutorhunt and other platforms, I have taught over 3500 individual lessons and more than 200 students.
I have gained years of experience supporting GCSE, A-level, undergraduate, and masters level students in their academic journey, and with excellent outcomes. Most of my tutoring experience has been from online tuition which I find is highly beneficial for students as it allows for greater flexibility and the use of interactive media.
During my tutoring journey with students I always ensure that my approach aligns well with the unique abilities and needs of each student. I strongly believe that following a period of tutoring a student should leave with a greatly enhanced understanding of the subject, higher grades, and importantly, increased confidence in their abilities not just in the chosen subject but as a whole.
