I am a head of chemistry and currently teach in a Welsh medium school.
I love to teach and I am very patient with students.
I will work at a pace the student feels comfortable with and will not increase this pace until the student is happy to do so.

I believe that nobody should have to struggle with studying.
This is why I encourage any and all questions, however silly you may feel they are. I am not here to judge, only to teach.
I want my students to feel confident in their learning environment, and to understand you must ask whenever you feel unsure.
I believe this to be the downfall of many classroom environments, where students don`t feel they can ask questions at the risk of feeling embarrassed.

I believe the key to reaching those top grades is that a student must understand the work as opposed to memorising information and therefore work to asses understanding and build on this information in lessons to come.

I am also a firm believer in trying new teaching methods. If you feel that the reason you don`t understand the work is because you are being taught the same thing in the same way and no one is able to approach the topic from another perspective then I believe I can help.

Availability: Weekday evenings and Sunday evenings.

Experience: I have experienced exams through the WJEC exam board from GCSE maths and sciences through to A-Level maths and sciences.

I have studied pure chemistry for my degree and have a 1st class honours master`s degree in chemistry. I am now a fully qualified and active head of chemistry at a welsh medium school.

Fluent in Welsh. Can teach chemistry in both English and Welsh up to A-Level.
Can teach GCSE Mathematics in both English and Welsh.
Can teach GCSE Physics in both English and Welsh.
Can teach GCSE Biology in both English and Welsh.

Confident in tackling other exam bodies, my experience up to my current position in university has allowed me to cover many topics that will cover those of other exam bodies.
