Hi there!

I`m a friendly PhD student (studying microbiology) looking to help anyone having difficulty with biology. I have experience in being a lab practical demonstrator for undergraduate biology students, as well as teaching biology masters students. I also have a large degree of experience with children, having volunteered for the charity Orbit Shed in the past.

I understand what it`s like to have difficulty with exam nerves, as well as getting to grips with the more complex parts of biology, but my passion for all aspects of the science has led me to pursue biological research as a profession. I believe that a combination of practising good exam technique and having the intricacies of the science explained with enthusiasm and patience is the key to excelling in biology.

Availability: Any day and time between 11th January to the 1st May 2016

Experience: I have a 1st class (hons) degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from UEA, and currently an on sabbatical leave from my final year of my PhD candidature. I take pride in having spent the past two years as an academic demonstrator in microbiology laboratory practicals with biology undergraduate students, and have also been an on-campus resident tutor for the same length of time.
