Educated at Oundle School, Exeter University and Fudan University, Shanghai. I am A British and French National, fluent in French, Spanish, Mandarin and English, with a passionate attitude toward making languages fun and relevant for students so they can maximise their potential and use them in their everyday life.

I have experience teaching Mandarin, Spanish and English online and one-on-one in the UK and China and as a classroom assistant in the UK.

Having experience in working and studying in China, I can help you learn Mandarin language and introduce to you cultural aspects which will help bolster your intercultural competence and your love of the country and language. With the top mark in my year at University and a distinction in spoken Mandarin, I know the best methods for learning this most tricky of languages. In addition, I have taken the HSK 5 exam and can teach this too.

The other half of my degree was learning Spanish. Having a fluent knowledge of French has definitely helped with my acquisition of Spanish, and I am able to help particularly those students who study both or have knowledge of one to find and recognise the cognitive similarities to help in their learning. I use podcasts and television programmes for teaching with advanced pupils to use as something to discuss or delve deeper into a topic.

Having a French grandmother, from an early age I was introduced to the French culture and way of life. I am fluent in French and have worked for the French company Lexilife in the UK and France. In a teaching capacity, my expertise is teaching French for business settings.

Availability: Weekdays 5-8 pm.

Experience: I have taught the following.
- GCSE level Mandarin online to a student on a weekly basis, outcome 9 in his GCSE exam.
- English to a Chinese national who passed her IELTS
- Spanish for business to a company CEO.
- Spanish for GCSE Higher Level.

In China, I taught English as a second language to children between the ages of 4 - 11.
