I am a former teacher and experienced tutor looking to help students meet their learning goals and catch up where they might have fallen behind. I take a flexible approach and understand that students will all have particular individual needs and will require tailored support. For me, the pleasure of tutoring is to be able to give students the exact resources that they need to succeed in their learning, while also helping them to enjoy and engage with the process.

I have years of experience working in St Petersburg, Russia as a Year 5 teacher and private tutor for ages 6 -18, following the British curriculum. My specialist subjects are English Literature and Language up to A Level and Mathematics and Sciences up to G.C.S.E level.

I have lived and worked across the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and feel that I am uniquely placed to support a wide range of student backgrounds and experiences. I am of the firm belief that rigor in education does not have to be rigid but should be as responsive and inclusive as possible.

Availability: Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm, Saturday Sunday 11am - 4pm, week days preferred.

Experience: Dialectica Language Club, St Petersburg, Russia - Private Tutoring for a wide variety of students. Including;
- Russian children at International Schools who needed help following the British curriculum and assistance with their English Language development. Subjects included Maths, Sciences and Humanities. Ages 4 -18
- Russian children preparing to enter British boarding schools who needed tutoring for their IELTS and assistance in understanding cultural and social differences.
- English as a Foreign Language for complete beginners.
