Experience: I was born in Saint-Petersburg but moved to England at the age of 13. Having spent half of my life in Russia and the other half here in England, I have kept in touch with the reality of modern Russia and Russian language, whilst developing my knowledge of English and of the reality of modern Britain (and the world) to that of a native Brit.

I attained 10 GCSEs (A-B) and 4 A-Levels (A-B) from Copleston High School & Sixth Form in Ipswich - where I started volunteering as an English Reading Mentor working with other pupils - and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from London Metropolitan University - where I was working as an Academic Writing mentor, helping other university students improve their writing skills. After university I spent the next few years working in bilingual positions across various fields and I have gradually become an expert in complexities of both English and Russian languages. I am currently doing a Double Masters degree in Politics & Security at the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies (UCL).
