I am approachable, supportive and engaging. I constantly strive to get the very best from my students.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher and Head of Economics at a local independent school. I am also the lead Economics tutor at two Premiership football clubs. I am very experienced in teaching GCSE and A level Economics to Year 10 to Year 13 classes.
I have also privately tutored a number of students, across all the main exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, CIE and OCR), significantly improving their grades and exam technique.

Our son was disillusioned because he was really struggling with A Level jEconomics at school. So much so that the teacher suggested he should change to another subject. Undeterred, we decided to find a tutor and through Tutorhunt, we found Asif. Asif has made a dramatic difference to our son`s progress. In fact, it is now his best subject! Asif uses humour and relates the subject matter to things that our son can relate to and he more often than not goes beyond the allocated time. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Asif is an excellent Economics tutor. We were very fortunate to have found Asif as my son was finding Economics very difficult and he was not enjoying studying the subject at school.
With Asif`s expert support and guidance, within a short space of time his confidence, understanding and interest in the subject of Economics had significantly improved. This had a very positive effect on his school exam grades.

We found Asif at a time my daughter was struggling with A-Level Economics. He turned out to be an excellent Economics tutor with a unique ability to explain the most complex topics in the simplest possible way. With Asif`s help, my daughter was able to grasp topics that had eluded her for a while and really started to enjoy the subject.
Asif is exceptionally professional and very generous with his time; He would prepare for lessons in advance and always go the extra mile by marking papers in his own time rather than during the lessons.
